Golden Flower Restaurant in Cochrane

Rhis is seriously the best chinese food in Ontario. This chef knows how to cook and his General Tao Chicken is to die for... don't let the old run down shop fool you, it is worth eating there

Been here a few times and it's always great. Excellent food, good prices, and friendly service. If you're looking for fresh food in Cochrane you'd have a hard time beating the Golden Flower.

Awesome meal love the chinese special...

The buffet dinner was great, but if you see a crowd maybe go somewhere else. We waited over 10 minutes while two staff members struggled to correct a single patrons transaction as more people lined up to pay their cheques and more came in behind us - we were finally waved to a table. Had their been signage to seat ourselves we would have. The place was packed so it must be good, but underequipped for a rush, at times they ran out of every item in the buffet, plates, forks, and cups. The sole server was run off her feet covering orders, takeout, bussing, barely making it to drinks. The buffet dessert was lackluster but there was a sign for homemade pies which are very likely amazing.

A small dated yet still inviting little place that has some of the best Chinese food out there. Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly as well....

Great staff Its still missing something n it starts with an L??? Guess that..... their food is excellent from my own words I like how they changed their portions . U get a bigger bite on things ..they made a few upgrades ..prices ..t.v..wifi friendly..but word of advice mandarin restaraunt Please give more on the side orders..n platters a lil more additions more gravy fries n cheese is a good example when we ordered take out we ran out of gravy b4 the fries ...its good just to go warm up w some coffee and tea take a lil break very convenient place

I've gone twice and probably won't go, again. Very oily and more celery than any other vegetable combined.

Great food. We always order the dinner for two. Sweet and sour chicken balls, chop suey, chicken fried rice and egg rolls. Plenty of food on the serving plates. Everything was perfect.

The BEST food I've ever had while travelling!!! Handmade, fresh food that will delight your tastebuds! You can tell there's no pre-packaged frozen junk...the egg rolls and spring rolls prove it.

Great chinese food. Hot and fresh tasting. Leftovers are just as good days later. No online menu unfortunately, but I've taken photo's of their menu as of May 2017.Prices are standard to those in Toronto, so you're not feeling the Northern Ontario price hike.

Very good food at a fair price. Fast food prices but small restaraunt quality. The portions big enough to fill u up and some left over. The service is very nice. Only 15 to 20 min for hot fresh food.

The best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Every time I come to Cochrane to visit, we have to eat here. The General Tso chicken is to die for.
